Terms and Conditions

Prices

The prices quoted on our website or in our publicity and promotional materials are prices inclusive of VAT in EUROS and are correct at the time of publication. In the event of any changes in our prices to those stated, we will notify you prior to accepting your booking. Whilst we reserve the right to change our prices at any time, your confirmation letter price is fully guaranteed and will not be subject to change.


Prices shown for the delivery of the workshops include order processing fees, but do not include any travel expenses of the Participant.

Registration

The fulfilling of the booking process, entails for the Participant the acceptance of the Terms and Conditions, the acknowledgment of having perfect knowledge of them and the waiver of its own terms of purchase or other conditions. All data provided and the recorded confirmation will be worth proof of the transaction.


By registering to attend a Periplus Workshop, the Participant agrees to participate in the workshop during

the full time period chosen.


The Organizer reserves the right to decline to accept or retain participants as members of the Periplus Workshop’s group at its sole discretion.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Any cancellation by the Participant’s side, must be communicated in writing to the Organizer (by e-mail to info@periplusworkshops.com).


The Participant profits of a cancellation period of seven (7) days from the order for refund, except for

a management fee of € 100, which will be retained for each cancellation.

In case the workshops have to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, excluding the ones that are beyond the Organizer’s control such as warfare, natural disasters or similar/other considered as cases of force majeure, the Organizer, shall reimburse the Participant the full booking fee.

Limitation of liability

The Participant by accepting to participate in the workshop acknowledges and agrees that the Organizer assumes no responsibility or liability outside the services he is directly providing. Organizer’s liability to the Participant is limited to compensation for direct damage proven by the Participant and is in any event limited to the amount paid by the Participant for the service provided. Extra services, such as taxis or extra activities
outside the ones directly scheduled for the workshop, made on Participant’s behalf 
by the Organizer, are subject to the terms and conditions laid down by each individual service provider. The Organizer does not warrant the standard of performance of any additional services and the Participant will address any complaints about the extra services to the respective provider(s) directly. If the Participant suffers personal injury or death or any other direct and indirect damage from any activity or service which is not
part of the workshop services the Organizer is providing, but occurs during their time, 
the Organizer will not be liable for any compensation.


The Organizer accepts no responsibility for loss of tickets, nor for the loss of personal articles and effects,

nor for personal accidents, injury or death, nor for losses or additional expense due to delays or damages in transportation or other services, quarantine, sickness, strikes, war, or warlike conditions, weather or any other causes or for any of the above arising due to Participant's participation in the workshop. The Organizer accepts no responsibility either can be prosecuted or sued for the acts or omissions of the Participant whether negligent or otherwise and shall not be held liable for any claims made against the Participant either by other Participants of the workshop or third parties. The Participant is considered fully responsible for any direct and indirect damage that may be caused by his / her actions to the detriment of the Organizer.


The Organizer, shall under no circumstances, be liable to any Participant for indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, or special damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of business, loss of data, damage to the image and reputation, even if it has been apprised of the likelihood of such damages occurring.


In all cases, the Organizer’s liability is excluded in case of force majeure.


In the event that it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort of the Participant, or for any reason whatsoever, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, to change times or venues, such alternatives may be made without liability to the Organizer.

Intellectual property

For all designs and works produced during the workshop, the Organizer reserves the right to retain these objects and irrevocably and unlimitedly exploit the work in the broadest sense, including both geographical and temporal, for mainly educational, exhibitional and promotional purposes. The Organizer must indicate

in case of the use and exploitation of the work appropriately the paternity of the Participant who created it.
If the Organizer intends to use the design or work commercially, the Participant 
who created it is entitled

to the customary royalties. Each Participant is though the owner of his / her design and has the rights

to proceed with any further development and production of the product.


Exceptions and individual solutions that are distinct from the aforementioned regulations are possible after

the prior consultation and approval of the Organizer.

Consensus to audiovisual media registering

Periplus Workshops process and all related activities, may be captured, through photography and video

by the Organizer, for further archival, study and promotional purposes. By accepting to take part in the workshops the Participant agrees to give full consensus to this.

Data protection

All personal data provided to the Organizer, will be held and processed in accordance with the requirements of the Greek and European laws. The Organizer will keep the Participant’s personal data safe and secure.

The Organizer will not share it with other companies or organizations without the Participant’s knowledge

and consent, unless required by law to do so.
